With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Alexa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes in the game, Lucian Stere dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cristian Fința hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Lucian Stere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octav Zamfirescu in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolae Barbu struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Martin Alexa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Steaua Pildesti.
