Big Saver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leontin Rednic in the 2nd minute of play. Rapiduletzu were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mugur Ivasiuc took the corner. After taking down the ball on Rapiduletzu's corner Mugur Ivasiuc fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Big Saver quite easily take care of the ball. Mugur Ivasiuc might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Big Saver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mugur Ivasiuc ran back to his position shaking his head. Big Saver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Iancu in the 10th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Leontin Rednic put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Big Saver. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavius Pușcașu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Mugur Ivasiuc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapiduletzu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Flavius Pușcașu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 18th minute. If Olimpiu Giuverdea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Chiru. Rapiduletzu's Mugur Ivasiuc got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Valer Andriescu got a free kick in the 30th minute. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Big Saver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Tarcea in the 35th minute of play. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Big Saver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Rednic in the 37th minute of play. Cristian Răchiteanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Ivasiuc in the 43rd minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Big Saver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Nicodim Iancu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Big Saver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Pumnu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavius Pușcașu came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Manuel Drăgănoiu. But to his dismay, Manuel Drăgănoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 56th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Agusoaei to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Rapiduletzu's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Drăgănoiu came free, but Flavius Pușcașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Big Saver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Giuverdea in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Olimpiu Giuverdea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rapiduletzu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olimpiu Giuverdea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Big Saver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leontin Rednic in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Rednic came free, but Big Saver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Rapiduletzu's Leontin Rednic fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 72 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Lupașcu. 78 minutes into the match, Rapiduletzu's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Drăgănoiu came free, but Flavius Pușcașu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rapiduletzu booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Pumnu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leontin Rednic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Big Saver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
