Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Dacian Iorgu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Bogdan Ignătoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezar Bourceanu. With a little luck, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Bogdan Ignătoiu got control of the ball when Dacian Iorgu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dimitris Charalambopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Pumnu in the 14th minute of play. Dacian Iorgu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bogdan Ignătoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Cezar Bourceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Bogdan Ignătoiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute of the match, Dacian Iorgu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bogdan Ignătoiu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Adam Tănăsie charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Tănăsie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Adam Tănăsie got a free kick in the 30th minute. Cezar Bourceanu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. FC Panat's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of FC Panat booed when -BZF- Barca de Buzau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Tănăsie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Pumnu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dimitris Charalambopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jock Tare to strike the kick off in the second half. Bogdan Ignătoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dacian Iorgu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Pumnu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Dimitris Charalambopoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Cazimir Văcărescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes of play, FC Panat's Panait Moșneanu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Ignătoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Denis Pumnu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dimitris Charalambopoulos. That made the score 1-2 after 82 minutes of play. Denis Pumnu in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dimitris Charalambopoulos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iulian Romanescu made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Doru Oprea. Bogdan Ignătoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Moșneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Bogdan Ignătoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Moșneanu in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. -BZF- Barca de Buzau had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
