Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after FC Vaslui's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliodor Chifu took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC Vaslui's goalie and right to Valer Bălășoiu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC Vaslui's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jerônimo de Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Călin Lechințan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Grozuță in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Vaslui's goalkeeper Constantin Mudura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Grozuță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Constantin Mudura made a huge save. The Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
