Ubaldo Pelayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Lucila in the 3rd minute of the match. The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Victor Lucila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victor Lucila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ubaldo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lucila in the 13th minute of play. Ibaneasa FC's Daniel Miclauș got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Oancea in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Liviu Frumușanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's supporters rose to their feet, but Liviu Frumușanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Pelayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mugurel Lipan in the 24 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Liviu Frumușanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ubaldo Pelayo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Liviu Frumușanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victor Oprea hit a great ball. Lucjan Frenzel hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ernest Oprescu, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Frumușanu in the 44th minute of play forced Ibaneasa FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Pelayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Florin Ciorobîtcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Ibaneasa FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liviu Frumușanu was the one to do the kick off. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zula Pawlik in the 52nd minute of play. When Liviu Frumușanu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Frumușanu couldn't finish the play. After 55 minutes, Victor Oprea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibaneasa FC and the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Ibaneasa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Oprea to maneuver through the defense. Mugurel Lipan kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Victor Lucila. A sloppy throw-in by Mugurel Lipan in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩. Mugurel Lipan hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Mugurel Lipan threw the ball into play from the sideline. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Liviu Frumușanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Pelayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edwin 雷岩 during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edwin 雷岩 hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ibaneasa FC:s goal. A sloppy throw-in by Mugurel Lipan in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩. After taking down the ball on Ibaneasa FC's corner Gelu Toader fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dinu Oardă quite easily take care of the ball. Ubaldo Pelayo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Liviu Frumușanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. When Liviu Frumușanu came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Frumușanu couldn't finish the play. Liviu Frumușanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Pelayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Frumușanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ibaneasa FC's Ubaldo Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Frumușanu in the 87th minute of play. Dinu Oardă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Pawlik, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Mădălin Bărbuceanu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mădălin Bărbuceanu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mădălin Bărbuceanu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 91 minutes into the game, one of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gelu Toader took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinu Oardă. Dinu Oardă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 98thth minute of the game Victor Lucila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ibaneasa FC's Ubaldo Pelayo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
