Victor Lucila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Hannes Albäck made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Grozuță came free, but Dinu Oardă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinu Oardă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Grozuță in the 20th minute of play. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ćićo Doro in the 23 minute of the game. Ernest Oprescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Albäck having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Liviu Frumușanu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hannes Albäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the game, Victor Lucila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hannes Albäck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s goalkeeper Hannes Albäck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Frumușanu. In the 39th minute of the match MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a corner. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernest Oprescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Ernest Oprescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hannes Albäck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hannes Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lucila in the 42nd minute of play. Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Grozuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Călin Lechințan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexandru Boșneag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Dinu Oardă made a huge save. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Vlad Vătafu scored to the left of an out of position Dinu Oardă, making the score, 2-1. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Gavino Urdin was substituted for Călin Lechințan. Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Valer Bălășoiu was substituted for Alexandru Boșneag. Liviu Frumușanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Hannes Albäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Liviu Frumușanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽'s Hannes Albäck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liviu Frumușanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hannes Albäck having to make a save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
