Spectators: 8070 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Ţugui got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Nimsoc TCN's Jimeno Cordeal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dumitru Berca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dumitru Berca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Dobrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Buhuș in the 14th minute of play forced Nimsoc TCN's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Eric Enășoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match, Sebastian Ţugui got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bogdan Lobonț was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dumitru Berca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Cordeal in the 21st minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Jimeno Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nimsoc TCN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Cordeal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sebastian Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Nimsoc TCN's Bogdan Lobonț got control of the ball when Sebastian Ţugui tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Ţugui's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Bogdan Lobonț skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. VIP's Dumitru Berca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Cordeal in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Jimeno Cordeal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nimsoc TCN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 46th minute Jimeno Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The VIP players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nimsoc TCN were winning 0-1.

Bogdan Lobonț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the match, VIP's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Cordeal came free, but Dumitru Berca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Damian Turcescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobri Karapetrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Nimsoc TCN's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Coșereanu came free, but Bogdan Lobonț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in VIP's zone, Doru Onete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dumitru Berca came out of the goal and Doru Onete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nimsoc TCN's Pavel Hâncu was substituted for Teodor Bobei. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Enășoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobri Karapetrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
