After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Isac Covataru got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Carlomagno Nunez came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Carlomagno Nunez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bucura's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlomagno Nunez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Zoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Carlomagno Nunez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Zoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlomagno Nunez, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Özen Mukremin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Yu Yang Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erasmo Neiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dino Zoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özen Mukremin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Perfumo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Bucura's Corneliu Cănănău sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Bucura fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cormoranii -MM- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
