Dino Zoff was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Mei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. Dino Zoff was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Mihăiţă Stolniceanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mihăiţă Stolniceanu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Sebastian Nițoi was substituted for Carlos Mei.
