AFC Nirosxn 08's Ionică Savu got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mugurel Slătineanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Ghimpu in the 19th minute of play. Mugurel Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Mirea in the 24th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionică Savu made a kick off. Ionică Savu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Nirosxn 08's zone, Paul Mirea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugurel Slătineanu came out of the goal and Paul Mirea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mugurel Slătineanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Weterio's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Ionică Savu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Gaitan was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 81st minute, one of AFC Nirosxn 08:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC Nirosxn 08. Mugurel Slătineanu went to the wrong direction when Leo Weterio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The AFC Nirosxn 08 fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when AFC Nirosxn 08's 哥伦布 Tiger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to AFC Nirosxn 08 getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ştefan Bogrea hit a great ball. AFC Nirosxn 08 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UM Timisoara for a fine match.
