After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Sever Patriciu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niculae Mercescu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Lyle Coppack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Voinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roch Cieslak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihăiţă Stolniceanu in the 37th minute. The throw-in from David Chiru in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Patrik De Roost. With a little luck, FC Luck's Roch Cieslak got control of the ball when Mihăiţă Stolniceanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely booed when FC Luck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Mercescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Ediberto de Queirós sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roch Cieslak skillfully saved the ball. Marcel Trifu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Stolniceanu in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Roch Cieslak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
