Liviu Enoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Cupșa, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Luca Pancu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Cupșa in the 11th minute of play forced Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Liviu Enoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were awarded a corner. Iulian Nicorici went to the cornerflag to take it. Iacob Povară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Panaitescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valer Uduleanu who took care of the corner kick. Iacob Povară showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Sântimbrean, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Iacob Povară showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Panaitescu in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Lucrețiu Sântimbrean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Iosif Găman sped through Cormoranii -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Liviu Enoiu. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Bobby Fischer put in a rough tackle. 38 minutes into the game, one of Cormoranii -MM-:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gheorghe Bociort received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Liviu Enoiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Gheorghe Bociort slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gheorghe Bociort made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Luca Pancu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Enoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Găman came free, but Liviu Enoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Luca Pancu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liviu Enoiu. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Pancu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 64th minute, Lucrețiu Sântimbrean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA made a substitution. Francisc Ciocoiu replaced Iosif Găman. In the 65th match minute, Cormoranii -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Sântimbrean to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Ciocoiu in the 68th minute of play forced Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Liviu Enoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 minutes of play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Silviu Latarețu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liviu Enoiu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liviu Enoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Pancu in the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cornel Panaitescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cormoranii -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Panaitescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iacob Povară breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Cormoranii -MM- defense, Silviu Latarețu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Liviu Enoiu. The Cormoranii -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Liviu Enoiu should have stopped the shot. After 83 played minutes, Cormoranii -MM-'s Cornel Sălcudeanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iacob Povară came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cormoranii -MM- reached it. The Cormoranii -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Cormoranii -MM-'s Cornel Panaitescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sorin Cupșa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
