Nechifor Păunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 哥伦布 Tiger in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nechifor Păunescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 哥伦布 Tiger in the 5th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nechifor Păunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, 哥伦布 Tiger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nechifor Păunescu. Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 哥伦布 Tiger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Despite this Mugurel Slătineanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of AFC Nirosxn 08 booed when Fotbal Club Otelul Galati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Cucu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Atanasiu came free, but Nechifor Păunescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Petre Săliştean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Slătineanu having to interfere. The supporters of Fotbal Club Otelul Galati booed when AFC Nirosxn 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. AFC Nirosxn 08 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
