Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Stiinta-Univ.'s Okan Koc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Martin Crețu made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ahmet Hasan Keyfer sent off a good shot on target. Stiinta-Univ.:s Martin Crețu showed great skill when he stopped Traian Curuțiu:s penalty. FC MeHigh's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saruhan Akyazıcı in the 10th minute. The corner led FC MeHigh's Saruhan Akyazıcı to fire away a dangerous shot which Martin Crețu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Stiinta-Univ. were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after FC MeHigh's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurel Panait took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aurel Panait got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iordache Albu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 24th minute Okan Koc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Albu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okan Koc took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordache Albu. Iordache Albu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. FC MeHigh's Iordache Albu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Gacek in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Gacek in the 31st minute of play forced FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Iordache Albu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saruhan Akyazıcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The FC MeHigh players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stiinta-Univ. were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Traian Curuțiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hasan Keyfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when FC MeHigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Dalmai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurel Panait took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordache Albu. Iordache Albu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Iordache Albu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Panait in the 58th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Saruhan Akyazıcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Crețu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Panait in the 67th minute of play forced FC MeHigh's goalkeeper Iordache Albu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC MeHigh defense, Okan Koc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordache Albu. The FC MeHigh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordache Albu should have stopped the shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s Muhammet Altın was substituted for Okan Koc. Ahmet Hasan Keyfer kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Ahmet Hasan Keyfer made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Stiinta-Univ.'s Shi Ming Sheng. FC MeHigh's Iordache Albu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Panait in the 77th minute of play. Iordache Albu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Urbano in the 81st minute of play. Vágner Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Xuaco Fias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC MeHigh's Saruhan Akyazıcı managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vágner Vargas in the 90 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Vágner Vargas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stiinta-Univ. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
