Agizul Boukemouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teo Marino. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. In the 20th minute Ianis Man shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Marino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy van Fessum, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. 29 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Marino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee ignored Galati Harbour Cats's protests and gave Shi Li a yellow card for diving instead. 38 minutes into the match, Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★'s Arlo Leguade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavian Soare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Viitakoski came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galati Harbour Cats's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vali Costandin was slow to take the kick. During this time Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★'s players had a chance to rest. Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★'s Vali Costandin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octavian Soare in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 45th minute Arlo Leguade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Demeester, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arlo Leguade to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ianis Man was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galati Harbour Cats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★ the free kick. Ianis Man hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The Galati Harbour Cats fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Antoni Dembkowski got a free kick in the 64th minute. Octavian Soare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Demeester in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute of the match Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★ got a corner. Galati Harbour Cats's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vali Costandin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arlo Leguade in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavian Soare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Viitakoski came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shi Li took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Marino. Teo Marino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Shi Li fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Marino having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Dembkowski. 95 minutes into the game, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo Marino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Galati Harbour Cats's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
