Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiberiu Caramarin in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandu Vlaicu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of MIT booed when FC Urzicuța was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kulabhusana Karabashlykov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Urzicuța's İrfan Attar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Calistrat Madgearu. That made the score 1-2 after 45 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the game, Jerry Talbot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Urzicuța's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MIT the free kick.

Sandu Vlaicu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İrfan Attar in the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Sorin Bârlă managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Urzicuța's supporters rose to their feet, but Sorin Bârlă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calistrat Madgearu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calistrat Madgearu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sorin Bârlă went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
