The attack was good, but when Medárd Horváth in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Morientes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Calistrat Ailincai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cai Yue Guang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute of the match, Andrei Cosor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Peter Schmeichel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. But to his dismay, Medárd Horváth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cai Yue Guang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Medárd Horváth in the 39th minute of the match. The throw-in from Emanuele Clementi in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Ştefan Vlădoiu. Cai Yue Guang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Ailincai, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Ninjas in Pyjamas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were winning 1-3.
