Nichifor Vasilitã didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tudor Postolache went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the moLdoVa sTar defense, Daniel Bumbac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Cârlig. The moLdoVa sTar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Cârlig should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind EagleFree's goalkeeper Nichifor Vasilitã, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vasile Prepelitã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. George Cârlig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of moLdoVa sTar booed when EagleFree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghenadie Mârza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, EagleFree's Iosif Cãpraru got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tudor Postolache might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nichifor Vasilitã. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tudor Postolache ran back to his position shaking his head. Simion Minciunã scored 1-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nichifor Vasilitã, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, EagleFree's Daniel Bumbac got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simion Minciunã in the 40th minute of play forced EagleFree's goalkeeper Nichifor Vasilitã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Simion Minciunã managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. moLdoVa sTar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simion Minciunã was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Bumbac made a kick off. moLdoVa sTar's Simion Minciunã managed to work through EagleFree's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Simion Minciunã dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. George Cârlig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bumbac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasile Prepelitã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 played minutes moLdoVa sTar got a freekick which was hit by Leonid Condraciuc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Prepelitã in the 63rd minute of play forced moLdoVa sTar's goalkeeper George Cârlig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simion Minciunã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Bumbac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. George Cârlig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in EagleFree's zone, Tudor Postolache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Vasilitã came out of the goal and Tudor Postolache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simion Minciunã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simion Minciunã in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nichifor Vasilitã prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Simion Minciunã fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vasile Prepelitã managed to get in a good position for a shot. EagleFree's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasile Prepelitã was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Cârlig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tudor Postolache charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tudor Postolache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Daniel Bumbac came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the EagleFree fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Bumbac couldn't finish the play. Ciprian Timofte hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Valera Blanari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Tudor Postolache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. moLdoVa sTar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Postolache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. moLdoVa sTar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
