The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Frasin's Tudor Jalbã got a free kick in the 15th minute. FC Bozesti's Marian Dumitras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bozesti from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Frasin's Vladimir Proca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Dumitras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandru Agapie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Buga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Dumitras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Vasilitã, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Teodor Buga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Dumitras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Proca in the 44th minute of the match. In the 48th match minute, FC Bozesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Micineanu to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Frasin's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
