Spectators: 6943 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 0) FC Salacuța's Emil Cepoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Verejeni defense, Emil Cepoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Constantin Doibani. The Verejeni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantin Doibani should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Verejeni's zone, Iosif Pricop stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Doibani came out of the goal and Iosif Pricop tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Cepoi scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Constantin Doibani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valera Ciubuc hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Vadim Plesca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantin Doibani having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Emil Cepoi made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Verejeni's Constantin Doibani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iosif Pricop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Constantin Doibani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Emil Cepoi notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Verejeni's Constantin Doibani. Constantin Doibani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27thth minute of the game Emil Cepoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verejeni's Constantin Doibani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Cepoi in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantin Doibani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emil Cepoi took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Doibani. Constantin Doibani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. The Verejeni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Constantin Doibani should have stopped the shot. Constantin Doibani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghitã Epureanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Marcel Vanghele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iosif Pricop blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantin Doibani having to make a save. Verejeni's Constantin Doibani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Cepoi in the 46th minute of play. The Verejeni players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Salacuța were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cãtãlin Bumbac to make the kick off. Emil Cepoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emil Cepoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantin Doibani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 minutes Verejeni's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Cepoi who took care of the corner kick. FC Salacuța's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Cepoi in the 56th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Iosif Pricop heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Iosif Pricop struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Constantin Doibani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Salacuța. A hard shot 62 in the game by Emil Cepoi from a close distance when the talented Constantin Doibani managed to make a qualified save. Verejeni's players were relieved. Ghitã Epureanu's late challenge caught a Verejeni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghitã Epureanu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Salacuța getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ghitã Epureanu hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Sergiu Madan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valera Ciocan skillfully saved the ball. Emil Cepoi in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Constantin Doibani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 68thth minute of the game Emil Cepoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verejeni's Constantin Doibani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Iosif Pricop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Constantin Doibani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Cepoi's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Salacuța's Ghitã Epureanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Constantin Doibani. That made the score 0-8 after 75 minutes of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Emil Cepoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Salacuța's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Cepoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Emil Cepoi notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Verejeni's Constantin Doibani. Constantin Doibani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Emil Cepoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Verejeni's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Pricop came free, but Constantin Doibani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. From a short distance, FC Salacuța's Iosif Pricop, in the 86th minute, tried to place the ball behind Constantin Doibani, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. 90 minutes into the game, Valera Cãldare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verejeni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Salacuța the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Verejeni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Salacuța:s goal. Emil Cepoi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Constantin Doibani came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Salacuța's Emil Cepoi. But to his dismay, Emil Cepoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Emil Cepoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Salacuța's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
