Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of FC Chișinău booed when Cricova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Izvoreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Halipa charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Halipa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Cricova got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Halipa. In the 18th match minute, FC Chișinău was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Comerzan to maneuver through the defense. When Mihail Darie came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cricova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihail Darie couldn't finish the play. David Beckham kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Stefan Eremciuc was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Bold showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, David Beckham put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stefan Grimalschi. Stefan Eremciuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Gusã in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, FC Chișinău's goalkeeper Stefan Eremciuc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Darie. Nichifor Izvoreanu took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Eremciuc. Stefan Eremciuc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petrea Panaite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Chișinău's Pedrinho Corrêa got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Chișinău's goalkeeper Stefan Eremciuc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Beckham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Grimalschi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cricova's Anatolie Bunea got a free kick in the 61st minute. Stefan Eremciuc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Bold's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. A collision led to FC Chișinău getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Marin Comerzan hit a great ball. Stefan Eremciuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Izvoreanu in the 70th minute of the match. Iulian Mârza hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Mihail Darie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85thth minute of the game Mihail Darie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Chișinău's Stefan Eremciuc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iurie Perju during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Iurie Perju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Cristian Bold had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Eremciuc. FC Chișinău's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Bold was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Cricova's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
