Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bogdan Izmanã got the match started through his kick off. Neculaieni were furious when Ovidiu Purice was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Neculaieni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Rapid Bucuresti:s goal. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for FC Rapid Bucuresti. Dorin Cepoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iulian Iordan. 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Viorel Tabãrã had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iulian Iordan. Neculaieni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viorel Tabãrã was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Vasile Crudu took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anton Cãpraru. Anton Cãpraru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Marius Burduja kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Neculaieni's Vasile Crudu got a free kick in the 29th minute. Eduard Vartic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Anton Cãpraru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marius Burduja fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Rapid Bucuresti's protests and gave Marius Burduja a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Rapid Bucuresti getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marius Burduja hit a great ball. Anton Cãpraru acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bogdan Izmanã. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rapid Bucuresti's zone, Eduard Vartic stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Cãpraru came out of the goal and Eduard Vartic tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, Neculaieni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Crudu to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichifor Vornic in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iulian Iordan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Aurel Vultur in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Neculaieni's Vasile Crudu. 48 minutes into the match, Eduard Vartic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Cãpraru. FC Rapid Bucuresti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduard Vartic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a rather tough play, Neculaieni's Bogdan Izmanã got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Viorel Tabãrã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Marius Burduja kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iulian Iordan. That made the score 2-3 in the 58 minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Florin Triboi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iulian Iordan. Florin Triboi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Neculaieni's Lilian Apostol quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mihai Calistru, made in the 70th minute of the game. Eduard Vartic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Cãpraru having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Aurel Vultur threw the ball into play from the sideline. Neculaieni's Vasile Crudu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 79 minutes, Lilian Apostol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neculaieni and the FC Rapid Bucuresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Rapid Bucuresti booed when Neculaieni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lilian Apostol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neculaieni's Eduard Vartic got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ruslan Vasiliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neculaieni's attack was well implemented in the 90th minute, but when Eduard Vartic was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a rather tough play, Neculaieni's Lilian Apostol got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florin Triboi got free with Iulian Iordan in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergiu Stegaru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a rather tough play, Neculaieni's Lilian Apostol got a free kick in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Rapid Bucuresti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
