After a defensive mix-up in FC Rapid Bucuresti's zone, Tudor Filip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Cãpraru came out of the goal and Tudor Filip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes FC Rapid Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Marius Burduja. After having played for 14 minutes, Virgiliu Pricop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nisporeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgiliu Pricop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florin Triboi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Iosif Delinschi made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxim Buruianã during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Rapid Bucuresti booed when Nisporeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Buruianã didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viorel Tabãrã could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Iosif Delinschi made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Viorel Tabãrã got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Virgiliu Pricop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Tabãrã who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Iosif Delinschi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iosif Delinschi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Burduja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tudor Filip to make the kick off. Iosif Delinschi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Vornic, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. FC Rapid Bucuresti's Anton Cãpraru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save FC Rapid Bucuresti from getting a goal against them. Virgiliu Pricop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Cãpraru having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Nisporeni's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Burduja came free, but Iosif Delinschi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marius Burduja took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iosif Delinschi. After 74 played minutes Nisporeni got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Musteatã. After 75 played minutes, FC Rapid Bucuresti's Dorin Cepoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iosif Delinschi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Rapid Bucuresti reached it. If Sergiu Stegaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nisporeni's Virgiliu Pricop got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tudor Filip came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Nisporeni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Filip couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Viorel Tabãrã had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iosif Delinschi. Nisporeni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viorel Tabãrã was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Nisporeni's Iosif Delinschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Triboi in the 96th minute of play.
