Bruno Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Bold in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Cricova booed when Dacia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Stegaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Mihail Darie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cricova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Darie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mihail Darie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bruno Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cricova's Cristian Halipa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 23 played minutes, Dacia's Ion Stegaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Grimalschi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dacia reached it. If Grigore Vrânceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Bold in the 27th minute of play forced Dacia's goalkeeper Bruno Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cricova's Dorel Gusã got a free kick in the 29th minute. Mihail Darie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bruno Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Cristian Bold rounded Dacia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Bold kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Astigar. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Mihail Darie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bruno Astigar made a huge save. If Nichifor Izvoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dacia's Bruno Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Bold in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Bold to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Dacia got a freekick which was hit by Virgiliu Ureche. In the 55th minute of the match Cristian Bold sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Astigar skillfully saved the ball. Bruno Astigar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Izvoreanu in the 58th minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Dacia got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Vrânceanu. If Mihail Darie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Astigar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Bold, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cristian Bold hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Bruno Astigar came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Cricova's Nichifor Izvoreanu. But to his dismay, Nichifor Izvoreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 82 minutes into the match, Dorel Gusã notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Dacia's Bruno Astigar. Bruno Astigar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorel Gusã charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorel Gusã the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dorel Gusã kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cricova's Stefan Grimalschi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Cricova from getting a goal against them. After having played for 88 minutes, Mihail Darie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cricova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihail Darie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Bold struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Bruno Astigar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cricova. Bruno Astigar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Bold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Nichifor Izvoreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Astigar. Dacia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nichifor Izvoreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Cricova's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
