Barcelona's Pascual Ipar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Barcelona from getting a goal against them. F.C. Barcelona's Pascual Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Platon in the 17th minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Red United's Emil Braga made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Ipar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Red United's Alix Brandenberger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pascual Ipar. That made the score 7-1 after 41 minutes of play. Pascual Ipar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Braga in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iain Coulshaw was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Red United booed when F.C.
