Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 160) Mîndresti's Marcel Prepelitã started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Iulian Cârlig hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Ghenadie Vasiliu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mîndresti's Ilie Enicov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilie Enicov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghenadie Vasiliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Marius Casu was a little too slow when Constantin Papuc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alexãndreni's Boris Dobândã got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ilie Enicov came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Alexãndreni's Boris Dobândã. But to his dismay, Boris Dobândã quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ilie Enicov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Dobândã in the 23rd minute of the match. Ilie Enicov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghenadie Vasiliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexãndreni's Marius Casu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ghenadie Dadu in the 26th minute of play. When Constantin Papuc came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Mîndresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantin Papuc couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Mîndresti's Constantin Izbas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marius Casu. Marius Casu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 34 minutes into the match, Alexãndreni's goalkeeper Marius Casu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantin Papuc. The crowd rose to their feet as Ghenadie Dadu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marius Casu. That made the score 3-1 in the 35 minute of play. Marcel Prepelitã could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Marius Casu made a huge save. In the 40th minute of the match Adrian Jalbã shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilie Enicov showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Papuc in the 44th minute of play forced Alexãndreni's goalkeeper Marius Casu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Prepelitã could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Marius Casu made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ghenadie Vasiliu to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Mîndresti's Ilie Enicov got control of the ball when Boris Dobândã tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iulian Cârlig kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantin Papuc in the 58th minute of play forced Alexãndreni's goalkeeper Marius Casu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iulian Cârlig came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Mîndresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Cârlig couldn't finish the play. Marius Casu came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Mîndresti's Marcel Prepelitã. But to his dismay, Marcel Prepelitã quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexãndreni's Maxim Jereghi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ilie Enicov. That made the score 4-2 after 70 minutes of play. Ghenadie Vasiliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ilie Enicov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilie Enicov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boris Dobândã in the 78th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Mîndresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Apostol to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Alexãndreni's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Prepelitã came free, but Marius Casu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilie Enicov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghenadie Vasiliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Boris Dobândã was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexãndreni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mîndresti the free kick. In the 89th minute, Boris Dobândã hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mîndresti's Marcel Prepelitã in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alexãndreni's goalie prevented a goal. After 94 played minutes Mîndresti got a freekick which was hit by Constantin Papuc. Mîndresti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
