After 4 minutes, Adrian Juravschi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red United and the Mîndresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adrian Juravschi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Petru Izbas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Nazaria, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Marcel Prepelitã managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mîndresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Prepelitã was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Platon in the 14th minute of play forced Mîndresti's goalkeeper Ilie Enicov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Platon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantin Izbas kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Leonid Galkin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alix Brandenberger might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Enicov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alix Brandenberger ran back to his position shaking his head. Mîndresti's Ilie Enicov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alix Brandenberger in the 31st minute of play. Ilie Enicov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonid Galkin in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Red United's Boris Platon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilie Enicov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 38th minute of the match, Marcel Prepelitã got a very nice opportunity to score, but Petru Izbas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Red United's Petru Izbas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Red United from getting a goal against them. Constantin Papuc struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Petru Izbas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mîndresti. 48 minutes into the match, Alix Brandenberger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilie Enicov. Mîndresti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alix Brandenberger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Prepelitã was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Papuc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Red United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mîndresti the free kick. In the 54th minute, Gheorghe Papuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petru Izbas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Papuc in the 55th minute of play. Mîndresti's George Nazaria got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragos Baraboi charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dragos Baraboi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Mîndresti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Red United:s goal. 孟延笑 scored 0-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Enicov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, 孟延笑 put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Ilie Enicov. Mîndresti's Ilie Enicov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mîndresti from getting a goal against them. Ilie Enicov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alix Brandenberger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 88 minute of play. Constantin Izbas charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantin Izbas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ilie Enicov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Braga went, in the 101st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score.
