Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eduard Cerbu made the kick off which started today's match. Viorel Cazacu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorel Vrânceanu in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Eduard Cerbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Cazacu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Izvoru FCA's Viorel Cazacu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Vrânceanu in the 8th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Marcel Silvestru got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Viorel Cazacu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Vrânceanu in the 13th minute of play. Dumitru Mereutã charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dumitru Mereutã the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Izvoru FCA's Dumitru Mereutã got a free kick in the 14th minute. Marcel Silvestru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonid Stratulat having to make a save. Lilian Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Stratulat having to interfere. The supporters of Flăcăii Satului booed when Izvoru FCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Silvestru didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Izvoru FCA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alexandru Fratea hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Izvoru FCA got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Silvestru. In the 35th minute of the match Lucian Minciunã sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viorel Cazacu skillfully saved the ball. Lilian Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Stratulat having to interfere. When Dumitru Mereutã came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Izvoru FCA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dumitru Mereutã couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lilian Buga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Eduard Cerbu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viorel Cazacu. Eduard Cerbu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Viorel Cazacu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorel Vrânceanu in the 56th minute. Dorel Vrânceanu took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viorel Cazacu. Viorel Cazacu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Leonid Stratulat came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Izvoru FCA's Dumitru Mereutã. But to his dismay, Dumitru Mereutã quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 66th minute Lilian Buga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonid Stratulat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonid Stratulat came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Izvoru FCA's Lilian Buga. But to his dismay, Lilian Buga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Lilian Buga came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Izvoru FCA fans jumped to their feet. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Vladimir Chicu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flăcăii Satului's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izvoru FCA the free kick. A collision led to Flăcăii Satului getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vladimir Castravet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Izvoru FCA's Dumitru Mereutã got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Izvoru FCA's Marcel Silvestru got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dumitru Mereutã fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Stratulat having to interfere. If Lilian Buga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Flăcăii Satului echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Izvoru FCA had held the ball for most of the match.
