Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marius Casu was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Teodor Arnãut capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodor Arnãut really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Virgiliu Doroftei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Doga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghenadie Vasiliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Cimislia getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Eugen Speianu hit a great ball. Boris Dobândã scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihail Doga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute Emil Damian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Casu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihail Doga came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Alexãndreni's Ghenadie Vasiliu. But to his dismay, Ghenadie Vasiliu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mihail Doga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghenadie Vasiliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Cimislia's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Dobândã came free, but Mihail Doga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Maxim Jereghi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexãndreni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Boris Dobândã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mihail Doga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ghenadie Vasiliu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alexãndreni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ghenadie Vasiliu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alexãndreni's Marius Casu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Damian in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Virgiliu Doroftei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihail Doga. That made the score 1-5 in the 55 minute of play. If Boris Dobândã had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Damian in the 76th minute of play forced Alexãndreni's goalkeeper Marius Casu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Alexãndreni's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Arnãut came free, but Marius Casu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cimislia's Mihail Doga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Cimislia from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Dobândã got free with Mihail Doga in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Mihail Doga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Teodor Arnãut hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Alexãndreni got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Burlea. 92 minutes into the match, Cimislia's goalkeeper Mihail Doga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boris Dobândã. Mihail Doga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghenadie Vasiliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Boris Dobândã made a precise shot to the right of Mihail Doga. Cimislia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6.
