After 4 played minutes Tarabostes got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Lazãr. George Nazaria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radu Dobândã hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Cristian Tâbârnã made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when George Nazaria sent off a good shot on target. When Stefan Panaite came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tarabostes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Panaite couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Tarabostes's goalkeeper Cristian Tâbârnã had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Nazaria. Marcel Prepelitã's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cristian Tâbârnã firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 33 played minutes Tarabostes got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Botnaru. Cristian Tâbârnã made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Prepelitã in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Proca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilie Enicov. Mîndresti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Proca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mîndresti's zone, Daniel Proca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Enicov came out of the goal and Daniel Proca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mîndresti getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Adrian Stângã hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ghenadie Dadu in the 46th minute of play forced Tarabostes's goalkeeper Cristian Tâbârnã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel Prepelitã made a kick off. After 51 played minutes Mîndresti got a freekick which was hit by George Nazaria. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Proca in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Enicov saved Mîndresti from getting behind. Cristian Tâbârnã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ghenadie Dadu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Tâbârnã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghenadie Dadu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61stth minute of the game Daniel Proca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mîndresti's Ilie Enicov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 66th minute when Ghenadie Dadu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Mîndresti's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Proca came free, but Ilie Enicov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Proca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ilie Enicov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Panaite's late challenge caught a Mîndresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefan Panaite helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, Tarabostes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Panaite to maneuver through the defense. Tarabostes's Cristian Tâbârnã played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ghenadie Dadu in the 80th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Tarabostes's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Prepelitã came free, but Cristian Tâbârnã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ghenadie Dadu in the 88th minute of play forced Tarabostes's goalkeeper Cristian Tâbârnã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarabostes's Daniel Proca got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radu Apostol hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Cristian Tâbârnã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ghenadie Dadu, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
