Donduseni CSF's Anton Dimitriu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marius Deleanu, made in the 24th minute of the game. Anatolie Enicov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 26th playminute. Iosif Cucu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lilian Buga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dumitru Dudãu charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dumitru Dudãu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Donduseni CSF booed when Izvoru FCA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Dudãu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Leonid Vântu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donduseni CSF's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonid Vântu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viorel Cazacu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 34 minutes, Leonid Vântu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lilian Buga to strike the kick off in the second half. Izvoru FCA's Viorel Cazacu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Ilies in the 55th minute of play. Iosif Cucu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lilian Buga in the 60th minute of the match. Viorel Cazacu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Vântu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatolie Enicov in the 63rd minute of play forced Izvoru FCA's goalkeeper Viorel Cazacu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumitru Mereutã sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Dumitru Dudãu could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Iosif Cucu however easily saved by the left post. If Leonid Vântu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Izvoru FCA's Lilian Buga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iosif Cucu. That made the score 1-3 after 72 minutes of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Lilian Buga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Iosif Cucu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Iosif Cucu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumitru Mereutã in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dumitru Dudãu got free with Iosif Cucu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Izvoru FCA's goalkeeper Viorel Cazacu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marin Ilies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Izvoru FCA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Izvoru FCA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
