The supporters of FC Haiduc Bumbata booed when Mãgura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihai Balaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes of play, FC Haiduc Bumbata's Dan Inculet made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilie Cobzar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vlad Dadu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Cobzar having to interfere. Valentin Mititel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes FC Haiduc Bumbata got a freekick which was hit by Simion Proca. FC Haiduc Bumbata's Stefan Plesca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Haiduc Bumbata from getting a goal against them. Vladimir Plugaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mircea Buruianã hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Stefan Plesca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Mititel in the 39th minute. Stefan Plesca made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Virgiliu Stratulat sent off a good shot on target. Vladimir Plugaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Haiduc Bumbata's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Constantin Doga 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimir Plugaru made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Vladimir Plugaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Haiduc Bumbata's Stefan Plesca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgiliu Stratulat in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Haiduc Bumbata's Simion Proca got a free kick in the 56th minute. Stefan Plesca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Mititel in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Mãgura's Virgiliu Stratulat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Plesca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladimir Plugaru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Ilie Cobzar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mãgura's zone, Dan Inculet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Cobzar came out of the goal and Dan Inculet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Vladimir Plugaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Cobzar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantin Doga struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Stefan Plesca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mãgura. In the 78th minute Valentin Mititel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Plesca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Cobzar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Plugaru in the 84th minute of the match. Stefan Plesca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Doga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Plugaru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Ilie Cobzar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vladimir Plugaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Mãgura could leave the field as winners, despite FC Haiduc Bumbata having more of the ball for most of the match.
