The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Juravschi to make the kick off. In the 69th minute of the match UFC Puturoasa got a corner. Liverpool FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gheorghe Streche ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gheorghe Streche got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Monte Quintarnaya quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
