Spectators: 7751 (Terracing: 5815, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 154) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Reinis Purvelis made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Ramuli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinis Purvelis to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd match minute, FC BabNov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armands Ceiziņš to maneuver through the defense. Valdis Astašenko hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ramuli's Edmunds Krolcs got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Laimis Seisums managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BabNov's supporters rose to their feet, but Laimis Seisums was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sīmanis Cuderis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, FC BabNov's goalkeeper Zigismunds Jeskēvics had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentīns Traskevics. Sīmanis Cuderis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laimis Seisums, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sīmanis Cuderis came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC BabNov's Mareks Rota. But to his dismay, Mareks Rota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 26th minute, Laimis Seisums ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sīmanis Cuderis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Sīmanis Cuderis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laimis Seisums in the 28th minute of play. Valentīns Traskevics came free in the 31st minute and tried to tip the ball over Zigismunds Jeskēvics, but to the joy of FC BabNov's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Ramuli's Sīmanis Cuderis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laimis Seisums in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Laimis Seisums shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sīmanis Cuderis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Laimis Seisums who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ramuli's Sīmanis Cuderis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Armands Ceiziņš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mareks Rota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sīmanis Cuderis having to interfere. Sīmanis Cuderis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laimis Seisums in the 44th minute of play. Laimis Seisums scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sīmanis Cuderis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laimis Seisums was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute Laimis Seisums shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sīmanis Cuderis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Laimis Seisums fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BabNov's protests and gave Laimis Seisums a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC BabNov getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Laimis Seisums hit a great ball. Reinis Purvelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laimis Seisums sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC BabNov booed when Ramuli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdis Astašenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sīmanis Cuderis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laimis Seisums, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Reinis Purvelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdis Astašenko made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Reinis Purvelis immediately put the ball in play. Mareks Rota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sīmanis Cuderis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramuli's Sīmanis Cuderis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laimis Seisums in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Armands Ceiziņš fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sīmanis Cuderis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laimis Seisums, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
