Aivis Liders was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tālis Rasickis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zintis Sprūds, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Puikele's Ivo Uzraugs got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 97 in the game by Romāns Brimers from a close distance when the talented Tālis Rasickis managed to make a qualified save. Bēdīgi Slavenie Mērgļi's players were relieved.
