After 35 played minutes Purnava got a freekick which was hit by Arnis Pozenskis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eglons Lenss in the 43rd minute of play forced Purnava's goalkeeper Ēriks Galvāns to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dins Skapars in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vikentijs Millers saved Rūķu kodēji from getting behind.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dins Skapars stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Umberts Solks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Madars Litaunieks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vikentijs Millers having to interfere. The supporters of Purnava booed when Rūķu kodēji was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarmis Naudišs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Purnava got a freekick which was hit by Imants Bergmans. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dins Skapars in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vikentijs Millers saved Rūķu kodēji from getting behind. Madars Litaunieks kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Madars Litaunieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 played minutes Purnava got a freekick which was hit by Dins Skapars. If Sarmis Naudišs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
