Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vecbirzaki's Raimonds Bertrups started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reinholds Ezis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gaits Klāģis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vecbirzaki's Edgars Bačinskis got a free kick in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmārs Utināns in the 8th minute of play forced Vecbirzaki's goalkeeper Gaits Klāģis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimonds Bertrups fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauris Starinskis having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Odigjani got a freekick which was hit by Stefans Rutks. The long shot by Georgs Montvids in the 14th minute really tested Lauris Starinskis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Odigjani's Lauris Starinskis got control of the ball when Digmārs Lielkalns tried to sneak it across the goal line. Digmārs Lielkalns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Digmārs Lielkalns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lauris Starinskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Digmārs Lielkalns's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Lauris Starinskis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinholds Ezis made a kick off. Lauris Starinskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Digmārs Lielkalns in the 51st minute of the match. Lauris Starinskis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimonds Bertrups, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The Vecbirzaki fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Vecbirzaki's Digmārs Lielkalns looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lauris Starinskis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Digmārs Lielkalns in the 61st minute of play. When Reinholds Ezis fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Odigjani's protests and gave Reinholds Ezis a yellow card for diving instead. Reinholds Ezis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfrēds Bubinduss during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Alfrēds Bubinduss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Edgars Bačinskis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauris Starinskis skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Odigjani getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Oskars Vanadziņš hit a great ball. Raimonds Bertrups fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauris Starinskis having to interfere. Lauris Starinskis came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vecbirzaki's Digmārs Lielkalns. But to his dismay, Digmārs Lielkalns quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Digmārs Lielkalns in the 78th minute of play forced Odigjani's goalkeeper Lauris Starinskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinholds Ezis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gaits Klāģis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Odigjani's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
