After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Toms Tuklers managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Seals's supporters rose to their feet, but Toms Tuklers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valfrīds Vagars breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agris Vanagacs charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agris Vanagacs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agris Vanagacs kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Toms Tuklers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valfrīds Vagars having to interfere. FC AVK's Agris Vanagacs got his second yellow card of the match in the 15th minute. The referee ordered Agris Vanagacs off the ground. Agris Vanagacs kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Seals booed when FC AVK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mintauts Vaļums didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Gatis Dābols from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Valfrīds Vagars's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Jēkabs Šmaugais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krists Jupenieks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valfrīds Vagars having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, FC AVK's goal looked a bit too open when Krists Jupenieks came free, but Valfrīds Vagars reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Krists Jupenieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Silvis Senhofs put in a rough tackle. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC AVK! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donats Vasivcevs to strike the kick off in the second half. If Krists Jupenieks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Donats Vasivcevs fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Smuidris Danovičs, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toms Tuklers in the 71st minute of play forced FC AVK's goalkeeper Valfrīds Vagars to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes, Mintauts Vaļums mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC AVK and the FC Seals players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toms Tuklers in the 78th minute of play forced FC AVK's goalkeeper Valfrīds Vagars to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mintauts Vaļums had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, FC Seals's Krists Jupenieks made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valfrīds Vagars was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, FC Seals's Toms Tuklers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valfrīds Vagars made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Krists Jupenieks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC AVK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
