Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arvīds Cērpiņš started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Silvis Lidzus fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bozauka's protests and gave Silvis Lidzus a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Bozauka got a freekick which was hit by Silvis Lidzus. When Raivis Pitels came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FK Vertuksna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raivis Pitels couldn't finish the play. Vitauts Brensmits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krists Priverts having to interfere. Raivis Zizlis kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 21st minute when Vitauts Brensmits elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Vitauts Brensmits who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Vertuksna's Krists Priverts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daumants Upmalis succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After having played for 38 minutes, Raivis Pitels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Vertuksna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raivis Pitels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daumants Upmalis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Krists Priverts made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vitauts Brensmits made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Zigmunds Irbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitauts Brensmits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Krists Priverts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raivis Pitels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raivis Pitels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andris Erkmanis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valgudis Kalēvics went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 63rd play minutes Vitauts Brensmits shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Krists Priverts and just under the crossbar into goal. Daumants Upmalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raivis Pitels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 played minutes, Bozauka's Ģirts Rakaris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Krists Priverts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bozauka reached it. 75 minutes into the match, FK Vertuksna's Raivis Pitels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andris Erkmanis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vitauts Brensmits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raivis Pitels might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andris Erkmanis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raivis Pitels ran back to his position shaking his head. Raivis Pitels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Andris Erkmanis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvīds Cērpiņš's late challenge caught a Bozauka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arvīds Cērpiņš helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes FK Vertuksna got a freekick which was hit by Arvīds Cērpiņš. Andris Erkmanis came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Vertuksna's Tālrīts Ķergalvis. But to his dismay, Tālrīts Ķergalvis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raivis Pitels got free with Andris Erkmanis in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
