If Raivis Pitels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes ☆Pőlïşĥ Šŧåŕŝ☆ got a freekick which was hit by Eglons Rusinskis. Arvīds Cērpiņš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leopolds Baldonieks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raivis Pitels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopolds Baldonieks having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, ☆Pőlïşĥ Šŧåŕŝ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Arvīds Cērpiņš came free, but Leopolds Baldonieks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raivis Pitels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvīds Cērpiņš in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopolds Baldonieks saved ☆Pőlïşĥ Šŧåŕŝ☆ from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, ☆Pőlïşĥ Šŧåŕŝ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Raivis Pitels came free, but Leopolds Baldonieks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Arvīds Cērpiņš made the kick off in the second half. Ivars Omuls sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopolds Baldonieks made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Raivis Pitels sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in FK Vertuksna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Valgudis Kalēvics in the 66th minute of play forced ☆Pőlïşĥ Šŧåŕŝ☆'s goalkeeper Leopolds Baldonieks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raivis Zizlis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FK Vertuksna's Raivis Zizlis got a free kick in the 80th minute. Raivis Pitels struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Leopolds Baldonieks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Vertuksna. If Raivis Pitels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ginters Klipsis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. FK Vertuksna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ludvigs Veipāns in the 95th minute. FK Vertuksna's Arvīds Cērpiņš got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Ginters Klipsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FK Vertuksna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
