Leopolds Baldonieks dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ivars Omuls received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Herberts Ruseckis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donats Barbāns to make the kick off. Donats Barbāns succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Ivars Omuls in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herberts Ruseckis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Ivars Omuls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
