Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mārtiņs Racinss took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mārtiņs Racinss kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Varis Dīkstāvis. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. With splendid footwork Saivis Jociņš arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-0 by the left pole in the game's 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mārtiņs Racinss got free with Varis Dīkstāvis in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Varis Dīkstāvis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mārtiņs Racinss in the 22nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FK Tuminy's Andris Malbergs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Varis Dīkstāvis. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. 30 minutes into the match, Kalvini's goal looked a bit too open when Mārtiņs Racinss came free, but Varis Dīkstāvis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Andrievs Prikulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Varis Dīkstāvis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute FK Tuminy were awarded a corner. Nikolajs Vainis went to the cornerflag to take it. Nikolajs Vainis made a great header on FK Tuminy's corner, it was just that Kalvini's Varis Dīkstāvis managed to reach the ball for a save. FK Tuminy's Mārtiņs Racinss got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Andris Malbergs fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Varis Dīkstāvis, passed just outside the right post. Mārtiņs Racinsss short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Varis Dīkstāvis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renāts Meisītis during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, one of Kalvini:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kalvini. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Andris Malbergs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mārtiņs Racinss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mārtiņs Racinss in the 58th minute of play forced Kalvini's goalkeeper Varis Dīkstāvis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Kalvini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandis Rusanovs to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Mārtiņs Racinss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Varis Dīkstāvis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kalvini's Varis Dīkstāvis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mārtiņs Racinss in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrievs Prikulis in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Varis Dīkstāvis saved Kalvini from getting behind. FK Tuminy's Andris Malbergs got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Andrievs Prikulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Varis Dīkstāvis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Varis Dīkstāvis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mārtiņs Racinss in the 88th minute of play. Varis Dīkstāvis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mārtiņs Racinss went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Kalvini's goal looked a bit too open when Mārtiņs Racinss came free, but Varis Dīkstāvis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK Tuminy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
