Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrievs Prikulis got free with Viesturs Sonas in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Eleya's goalkeeper Viesturs Sonas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saivis Jociņš. In the 9th minute, Ivo Silapriede got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viesturs Sonas stood somewhat misplaced when Andrievs Prikulis came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. Andrievs Prikulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Viesturs Sonas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Eleya's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Silapriede came free, but Viesturs Sonas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes, Einārs Stolceris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eleya and the FK Tuminy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Einārs Stolceris kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Modris Spiridovics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austrums Žukovskis in the 30th minute of play. Eleya's Viesturs Sonas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivo Silapriede in the 33rd minute of play. Mārtiņs Racinss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Viesturs Sonas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ivo Silapriede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Eleya's goalkeeper Viesturs Sonas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mārtiņs Racinss.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Austrums Žukovskis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Aldris Puslaks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Tuminy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Mārtiņs Racinss took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viesturs Sonas. Viesturs Sonas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, FK Tuminy's Aldris Puslaks got a free kick in the 60th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Ivo Silapriede cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Viesturs Sonas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viesturs Sonas came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Tuminy's Mārtiņs Racinss. But to his dismay, Mārtiņs Racinss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Viesturs Sonas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mārtiņs Racinss in the 73rd minute of the match. FK Tuminy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nikolajs Vainis in the 75th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Eleya's goalie and right to Andrievs Prikulis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Eleya's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 77 minutes into the game, Mārtiņs Racinss cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Viesturs Sonas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ivo Silapriede came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the FK Tuminy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Silapriede couldn't finish the play. When FK Tuminy's Ivo Silapriede in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eleya's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mārtiņs Racinss in the 88th minute of play forced Eleya's goalkeeper Viesturs Sonas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivo Silapriede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute Mārtiņs Racinss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viesturs Sonas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK Tuminy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
