After some careless play in the PFK Vecviekskele defense, Sentis Smuidris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maigurs Simsons. The PFK Vecviekskele fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maigurs Simsons should have stopped the shot. After 30 minutes, Sentis Smuidris made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. PFK Vecviekskele's Maigurs Simsons tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PFK Vecviekskele's goalkeeper Maigurs Simsons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. PFK Vecviekskele's Maigurs Simsons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aysan Taykara in the 35th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Amador Bernard lined in a short shot 2-8 behind a frustrated Maigurs Simsons. Sentis Smuidris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Maigurs Simsons when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 61 played minutes PFK Vecviekskele got a freekick which was hit by Frīdis Grundāns. Maigurs Simsons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sentis Smuidris in the 68th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match, Rūsiņs Tračevskis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maigurs Simsons was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Rūsiņs Tračevskis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maigurs Simsons was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, PFK Vecviekskele's Frīdis Grundāns got a free kick in the 90th minute.
