Spectators: 9254 (Terracing: 6942, Seating: 2128, VIP seats: 184) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hayrettin Kapsam started the match with the kick off. Matishi's Anšlavs Pavasars proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Matishi from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Matishi's goalkeeper Anšlavs Pavasars had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hayrettin Kapsam. Anšlavs Pavasars was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Nikolajs Levmanis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nikolajs Levmanis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Āris Ventnieks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Daugava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Āris Ventnieks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vello Valdma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils Silaunieks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cacá 龙青 having to make a save. Anšlavs Pavasars showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayrettin Kapsam, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Nikolajs Levmanis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Daugava's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikolajs Levmanis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anšlavs Pavasars breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Hayrettin Kapsam sped through Matishi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anšlavs Pavasars. In the 34th minute, Daumants Cinkurs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hayrettin Kapsam came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SK Daugava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayrettin Kapsam couldn't finish the play. Emil Ştefănuţ struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Anšlavs Pavasars didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Daugava. In the 38th minute, Hayrettin Kapsam fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Anšlavs Pavasars managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when SK Daugava's Hayrettin Kapsam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the game, Kristaps Kalnacs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matishi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Daugava the free kick. A collision led to Matishi getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Kristaps Kalnacs hit a great ball. Hayrettin Kapsam came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anšlavs Pavasars could save by the left post. Anšlavs Pavasars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolajs Levmanis in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daumants Cinkurs to make the kick off. Anšlavs Pavasars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrettin Kapsam in the 51st minute of the match. León Solis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matishi's Anšlavs Pavasars played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayrettin Kapsam in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Matishi's zone, Hayrettin Kapsam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anšlavs Pavasars came out of the goal and Hayrettin Kapsam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hayrettin Kapsam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When SK Daugava's Hayrettin Kapsam in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matishi's goalie prevented a goal. If Leonardo Vibjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SK Daugava's Hayrettin Kapsam in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 73rd minute, Laimis Surkovs-Vāvere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes in the game, Hayrettin Kapsam dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Anšlavs Pavasars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayrettin Kapsam in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Hayrettin Kapsam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matishi's Anšlavs Pavasars was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Nikolajs Levmanis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Anšlavs Pavasars was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When SK Daugava's Hayrettin Kapsam in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SK Daugava walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
