Sentis Smuidris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 7 minutes of play, Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s Sentis Smuidris made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilis Baturiņš was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the game, Rūsiņs Tračevskis lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Vilis Baturiņš. After 14 played minutes FC Whiskey Team got a freekick which was hit by Valdis Zadaus. The crowd rose to their feet as Rūsiņs Tračevskis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vilis Baturiņš. That made the score 4-0 in the 15 minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s Aysan Taykara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vilis Baturiņš made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Amador Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Whiskey Team booed when Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Bruin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s Rūsiņs Tračevskis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sentis Smuidris hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s Sentis Smuidris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilis Baturiņš narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Rūsiņs Tračevskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilis Baturiņš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilmārs Rusmanis in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Olof Bruin had to leave the field with a concussion. Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕'s Everts Strauts was substituted for Olof Bruin. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rūsiņs Tračevskis made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Rūsiņs Tračevskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilis Baturiņš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rūsiņs Tračevskis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilis Baturiņš was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Sentis Smuidris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilis Baturiņš was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Sentis Smuidris struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Vilis Baturiņš didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rise of Empires ♕Ottoman♕. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Rūsiņs Tračevskis put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vilis Baturiņš. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rūsiņs Tračevskis in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilis Baturiņš prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Whiskey Team's Vilis Baturiņš played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sentis Smuidris in the 71st minute of play. If Sentis Smuidris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilis Baturiņš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Bernard in the 75th minute of the match. If Sentis Smuidris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilis Baturiņš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sentis Smuidris, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the FC Whiskey Team defense, Rūsiņs Tračevskis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vilis Baturiņš. The FC Whiskey Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilis Baturiņš should have stopped the shot.
