Germano das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laimiņs Staķēns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Fredis Bilēvics made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Knuts Plekss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano das Neves was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Germano das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andris Paupers's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Germano das Neves came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Poolisti's Knuts Plekss. But to his dismay, Knuts Plekss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Germano das Neves didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FK Poolisti's Knuts Plekss shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. FK Poolisti's Fredis Bilēvics proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FK Poolisti from getting a goal against them. When Knuts Plekss came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the FK Poolisti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knuts Plekss couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Laimiņs Staķēns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredis Bilēvics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, FK Poolisti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saivis Amplis to maneuver through the defense. Fredis Bilēvics took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laimiņs Staķēns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sīmanis Garais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fredis Bilēvics made a huge save. Germano das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knuts Plekss in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Knuts Plekss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laimiņs Staķēns got free with Fredis Bilēvics in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Despite this Germano das Neves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Germano das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knuts Plekss in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Sīmanis Garais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredis Bilēvics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knuts Plekss in the 70th minute of play forced FK Pērles's goalkeeper Germano das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, FK Poolisti's goal looked a bit too open when Laimiņs Staķēns came free, but Fredis Bilēvics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knuts Plekss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the game, FK Pērles's Laimiņs Staķēns nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredis Bilēvics made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Germano das Neves was a little too slow when Knuts Plekss got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 1-5. The supporters of FK Pērles booed when FK Poolisti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaspars Medinieks didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knuts Plekss in the 93rd minute of play forced FK Pērles's goalkeeper Germano das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Knuts Plekss managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Poolisti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knuts Plekss was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FK Poolisti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
