Germano das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrians Girs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Germano das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germano das Neves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gastons Kapaklis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 85 minute of play. Marģers Gaubšteins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano das Neves having to make a save. If Ilmārs Kopāns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fk Kurzeme's Dāgs Budreckis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Lorup in the 90th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Charlie Gardel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
