Spectators: 9230 (Terracing: 6924, Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Normunds Mulareks kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Lielkangari booed when FC Royal Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ervīns Markulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skaidris Mačulis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. In the 10th minute of the match, Normunds Mulareks tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermo Kaldvee saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 12 minutes, Normunds Mulareks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Royal Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Normunds Mulareks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 played minutes Lielkangari got a freekick which was hit by Raimonds Subačs. After 14 played minutes FC Royal Academy got a freekick which was hit by Mareks Pavlovskis. In the 17th minute, Oskar Skarkman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Royal Academy's Normunds Mulareks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ermo Kaldvee. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 24th minute, Normunds Mulareks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ermo Kaldvee. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 30th minute, FC Royal Academy's Balvis Pileģis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Lielkangari's Ermo Kaldvee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balvis Pileģis in the 33rd minute of play. Aļģirts Hidekels hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Oskar Skarkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lielkangari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Kaspars Biezeks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute Kaspars Biezeks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiāns Orluks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oskar Skarkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristiāns Orluks having to interfere.

52 minutes into the game, Lielkangari's Kaspars Biezeks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristiāns Orluks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 56th minute, Lielkangari's Oskar Skarkman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. Kaspars Biezeks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Kristiāns Orluks made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Oskar Skarkman took a quick shot and it went in 4-4 without a chance for Kristiāns Orluks to make any attempt to save it. Radomir Bochynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ermo Kaldvee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balvis Pileģis in the 68th minute of play. FC Royal Academy's Skaidris Mačulis got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes FC Royal Academy got a freekick which was hit by Skaidris Mačulis. Lielkangari's Oskar Skarkman got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aloizs Massaliņš hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Kaspars Biezeks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaspars Biezeks's late challenge caught a FC Royal Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kaspars Biezeks helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Kaspars Biezeks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Normunds Mulareks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
