Spectators: 6312 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 2128, VIP seats: 184) Lielkangari's Kaspars Biezeks started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, SK Riga 1998's goalkeeper Armands Bumaga-Papīrs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaspars Biezeks. 3 minutes into the game, Miķelis Botāns was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Riga 1998's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lielkangari the free kick. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Lielkangari's Kaspars Biezeks. But to his dismay, Kaspars Biezeks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Kaspars Biezeks notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of SK Riga 1998's Armands Bumaga-Papīrs. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomir Bochynski in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armands Bumaga-Papīrs saved SK Riga 1998 from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, SK Riga 1998's goalkeeper Armands Bumaga-Papīrs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaspars Biezeks. Oskar Skarkman hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Imants Zvaigznonis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lielkangari's Ritvaldis Bražģis got a free kick in the 29th minute. Lielkangari's Ermo Kaldvee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingus Štokenbergs in the 29th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Lielkangari got a freekick which was hit by Ojārs Vācietis. Ermo Kaldvee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imants Zvaigznonis in the 34th minute of the match. Radomir Bochynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaspars Biezeks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Kaspars Biezeks took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Armands Bumaga-Papīrs to make any attempt to save it. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Bochynski in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

56 minutes into the game, Ritvaldis Bražģis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lielkangari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Riga 1998 the free kick. In the 56th minute, Ritvaldis Bražģis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaspars Biezeks in the 61st minute of play forced SK Riga 1998's goalkeeper Armands Bumaga-Papīrs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SK Riga 1998 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gints Snebergs hit a great ball. Radomir Bochynski, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ojārs Vācietis charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ojārs Vācietis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lielkangari's Ojārs Vācietis got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to Lielkangari getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Kaspars Biezeks hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SK Riga 1998's zone, Radomir Bochynski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs came out of the goal and Radomir Bochynski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Radomir Bochynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armands Bumaga-Papīrs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armands Bumaga-Papīrs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Skarkman in the 93rd minute of play. Lielkangari's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
